You have heard of strong rumours that Carthage is very Vampire friendly city. This has many personal plot directions which you could decide to take. You have been sent/ or decided to go to Carthage, as it is a very powerful and probably the largest city. – just let me know where it is from and there may need to be a tweak.

The plot will involve good vs evil (real evil with a capital E), personal horror, moral grey decisions, politics, class-based systems and what ever you bring to the table. Your background will be built it to the plot. Gameplay will begin with you traveling to/arriving at Carthage at the same time Your characters do not need to know each other, that will be brought into the plot Consider the Guardians quote “What has the Galaxy ever done for you? Why would you want to save it?” – “Because I’m one of the idiots who lives in it!” Consider protagonists like, Capt Jack, Han Solo or Peter Quill. While the plot may be greater good linked, do not feel that your characters need to be morally good. While you may dislike or have petty squabbles, they will be put aside for the greater good.
This will be an overall cooperative game, with greater good goals. This would allow for folks to drop out and other to join if they wanted, though it would be cool if we could keep it going. If that game goes well, I would then like to bring it up to modern day, with much larger time jumps to different eras and then stay in each era for a while. Looking a game that would last for a least a year. The idea being that we would play for about 12 – 20 sessions on a plot arch and then have a time jump, where by you can increase your backgrounds influence, contacts, resources, etc, discover additional plot but also, research and learn new disciplines. Set in the City of Carthage beginning in 465 BC. The setting would be World of Darkness, Vampire setting.
